Upgrading Your Hosting Plan
As your website grows, you may need more disk space, bandwidth, or features. Upgrading your Fantastic NZ Hosting plan is quick and easy.
How to Upgrade
- Log into your client area at https://fantasticnzhosting.co.nz/whmcs/clientarea.php
- Go to Services > My Services.
- Click on the hosting plan you want to upgrade.
- Click the Upgrade/Downgrade button (or look for "Upgrade" options on the page).
- Select your new plan from the available options.
- Review the price difference — you'll only pay the prorated difference for the remainder of your current billing period.
- Click Continue and complete the payment.
What Gets Upgraded?
When you upgrade, your new plan limits take effect immediately:
- Increased disk space
- More bandwidth/data transfer
- More email accounts and databases
- Additional features (depending on the plan)
Will My Website Go Down?
No. Upgrades are applied seamlessly — there's no downtime, no migration needed, and no changes to your files, databases, or email accounts. Everything stays exactly as it is, just with more resources.
Can I Downgrade Later?
Yes, you can downgrade at any time using the same process. However, make sure your current usage is within the limits of the lower plan before downgrading (e.g., disk space used).
